REFURBISHMENT VS REPLACEMENT: THE REAL COST

During a recent refurbishment by a large insurance company, questions were raised over the environmental issues linked with disposing of PVC / fibreglass roller blinds. Taking a sustainable approach the client instructed Grosvenor Contracts to perform its offsite Ultrasonic Cleaning and Maintenance service. All 900 blinds were removed from site and re-instated over a weekend period.

The Deep Cleaning methods employed resulted in prolonging the lifespan of the blinds for a further 10 years and eliminated the detrimental effect caused by the recycling of PVC and manufacture of new blinds. The client saved £81,000.00 on expensive replacement blinds as Ultrasonic cleaning is not only effective but extremely economical.
